Tripment Contest Terms and Conditions

Promotion name and promoter

  1. This Tripment contest (“Contest”) is organised and provided by Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (“Cathay”) and Asia Miles Limited (“AML”) (together, “Cathay/AML”).

Promotion Period

  1. This Contest is valid from 1 October 2025, 1200hrs (GMT+8) to 31 October 2025, 2359hrs (GMT+8) (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”). No entries will be accepted after the Promotion Period.

Who can enter

  1. To be eligible to enter the Contest, each individual must:
    1. have completed the tele-consult by clicking “Chat with Me” or the chat icon at the bottom of the campaign page https://www.cathaypacific-tripment.com/ (“Campaign Page”) and received a “Vacation Certificate” via email after the tele-consult;
    2. toggle off the “Private account” option and switch their personal Instagram or TikTok accounts to public;
    3. post the “Vacation Certificate” on their Instagram or TikTok as a story or in-feed post (“Post”);
    4. create a new vacation deprivation diagnosis by providing a name and a description of the symptoms in the Post, such as “Inbox Avalanche - The overwhelming stress of seeing 500+ unread emails after a long weekend, triggering avoidance behaviour and strategic coffee breaks”;
    5. tag @cathaypacific in the Post, along with the necessary hashtag #Tripment; and
    6. be aged 21 years and above at the commencement of the Promotion Period.
    7. be a local resident of Singapore.
    (each individual fulfilling all the criteria above shall be referred to as a “Participant”, and collectively, the “Participants”)
  2. Each Participant may enter the Contest on both Instagram and TikTok.
  3. Each Participant may only enter the Contest once per platform, during the Promotion Period.

When and how the winners are chosen and notified

  1. All submissions will be assessed by a selection panel (“Panel”) consisting of Cathay commercial team members.
  2. The evaluation judging criteria (“Judging Criteria”) for eligible submissions is as follows:
    1. Originality, skill and creativity of their responses.
  3. Cathay will select a total of five (5) winners (each a “Winner” and collectively the “Winners”) on or before 14 November 2025.
  4. The Panel’s decisions are final and binding. The submissions that best meet the Judging Criteria, as determined by the Panel, will be declared the Winners. Chance plays no part in determining any Winners.
  5. Cathay will notify each Winner by messaging via Instagram or TikTok by 21 November 2025 (“Notification Message”). Winners must provide their Cathay Membership Programme member information, including Cathay Membership Programme membership number, full name, email address and mobile number, to Cathay by 30 November 2025.
  6. The results of the Contest will be published on the Campaign Page within seven (7) days after the results are determined.

Prizes

  1. Each Winner will receive a prize (each, a “Prize” and collectively, the “Prizes”). The list of Prizes is set out in the table below:

How to claim the Prize

  1. Asia Miles for the 1st to 5th Prizes will be credited to the Winners’ Cathay Membership Programme account within 6-8 weeks after the Cathay Membership Programme member information is received by Cathay.

Unclaimed Prize

  1. If (having made reasonable efforts) Cathay/AML cannot contact a Winner, or if a Winner provides incorrect or incomplete information or fails to provide the necessary information before the deadline in paragraph 10, Cathay/AML will forfeit the Prizes. Cathay/AML accepts no liability in relation to the forfeiture and will not be liable for any compensation.

General

  1. By participating in this Contest, the entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. The Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash and shall not be transferred to another individual.
  3. Each Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes (including but not limited to, federal, state, local and/or income), costs, fees, charges and expenses in connection with the Prize (if applicable).
  4. If the Winner fails to use their Prize in time, it will not be replaced by Cathay/AML.
  5. Cathay/AML reserves the right to disqualify an entrant’s participation in this Contest in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions.
  6. If the entrants are required to submit an original work in connection with this Contest:
    1. then by participating in this Contest, the entrants represent and warrant that their entry is an original work created solely by them and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party; and
    2. the entrants will retain ownership of their entry. However, by participating in this Contest, the entrants grant Cathay/AML a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, display and create derivative works of their entry for promotional, marketing and other purposes related to this Contest, without further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.
  7. Cathay/AML will not accept any entry or participation in this Contest which contains incomplete or illegible information, or which is generated by automated means (if applicable).
  8. All decisions made by Cathay/AML in respect to any matter relating to this Contest shall be final.
  9. Cathay/Winners are responsible for their use of the Prizes, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions that may apply to the Prizes, including the Cathay Membership Programme Terms and Conditions.
  10. If the Contest cannot run for reasons beyond Cathay/AML’s control (for example, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical failures beyond Cathay/AML’s control (as may be applicable)), Cathay/AML reserves the right to terminate or otherwise amend this Contest.
  11. Cathay/AML will not be liable for any losses in connection with the failure of an entrant to provide correct and complete information to Cathay/AML when participating in this Contest.
  12. Cathay/AML does not accept any responsibility or liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, transmission interruption, communications failure, or otherwise (as may be applicable).
  13. To the extent permitted by law, Cathay/AML, its agents, employees, contractors, and its representatives will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of claiming or receiving the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Cathay/AML, its agents, employees, contractors, or representatives. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed in accordance with the Cathay/AML privacy policy.
  14. The Cathay Membership Programme Terms and Conditions shall also apply. To the extent there is any inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  15. Other Cathay Pacific terms and conditions apply.
  16. These terms and conditions and this Contest are governed by the laws of Singapore. If there is any dispute in relation to this Contest or terms and conditions, the entrants agree to engage in good faith negotiations with Cathay/AML in the first instance before commencing any legal proceedings. If an entrant and Cathay/AML fail to come to a mutually acceptable resolution following good faith negotiations, the entrant may commence court proceedings, but he or she must do so within the courts of Singapore.
  17. Where this Contest utilizes, or requires the use of, any Social Media Platform:
    1. this Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any Social Media Platform;
    2. the entrants understand that they are providing their information to Cathay/AML and not to any Social Media Platform; and
    3. any questions, comments or complaints about this Contest must be directed to Cathay/AML and not to any Social Media Platform.
    For the purposes of the above, “Social Media Platform” means Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and/or any other social media platform in existence from time to time.

Terms and conditions for discount code

  1. Validity period:
    1. 1 October to 16 November 2025
  2. Travel period for discount code:
    1. 1 October 2025 to 30 April 2026
  3. To enjoy the offer, customers must book their flight ticket(s) through the official Cathay Pacific website.
  4. This offer is not applicable to fuel surcharges, taxes, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges.
  5. The discount code “TRIPMENT” is valid for round-trip bookings originating from Singapore to all Cathay Pacific online destinations. Limited to the first 200 eligible transactions only.
  6. The discount codes cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  7. The discount codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
  8. The discount codes may not be transferred or sold and will not be replaced if it remains unused past the validity period. The discount codes cannot be combined with any other coupons or any other offers or discounts or promotions.
  9. Premium Economy Class may not be available on all flight segments. Where passengers choose to switch their booking after ticket issuance to a flight not offering Premium Economy Class, Economy Class seat will be offered without any fare refund.
  10. For an itinerary that involves a stopover in Hong Kong, please use the Multi-city/Stopover option to book your flights. The discount code “TRIPMENT” is not valid for Multi-city/Stopover booking.
  11. Rebooking: rebooking fees apply for travel dates and flight changes on the same route, subject to booking class availability, ticket validity and any applicable taxes or fare differences. Please refer to ‘fare conditions’ during booking.
  12. No-show: no-show fees apply and vary by booking class, please refer to ‘fare conditions’ during booking.
  13. Refund: Cancellation fees apply and vary by booking class, please refer to ‘fare conditions’ during booking.
  14. Asia Miles accrual: the exact number of Asia Miles earned for a flight will appear during the booking process.
  15. Child fare / Infant with seat: 75% of adult fare applies.
  16. Infant without seat: 10% of adult fare applies.
  17. Offers are subject to reservation system seat/booking availability of Cathay Pacific Airways.
  18. Tickets are non-transferable and name change is not permitted.
  19. Tickets must be used in sequence. If the first outbound sector is not utilised, the rest of the itinerary is automatically cancelled.
  20. Effective from 3 June 2024, bookings made with discount codes will no longer be entitled to the 24-hour free cancellation benefit for members.
  21. Cathay Pacific Airways Limited reserves the right to make the final decision and/or to withdraw (as applicable) on all matters relating to the discount code. Cathay Pacific Airways Limited shall have no liability for any website failure, coupon errors, any malfunction of computers, communications and facilities, any deficiencies of service and any loss or damage caused by email or other means.
  22. In case of any dispute, the decision of Cathay Pacific shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  23. Fees for services and baggage of codeshare flights may be different from Cathay Pacific Airways, including on HK Express codeshare flights. Please consult the operating carrier’s website for information on their optional fees and services.
  24. Cathay Pacific terms and conditions apply. We reserve the right to suspend, amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time and at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability.
