Personal information collection statement
Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (“CX”) is collecting your personal data, including your names and email addresses taken during the Tripment campaign (“Campaign”), for the purposes of personalising your Vacation Certificate and, with your consent, emailing you your Vacation Certificate and a discount code for your flight booking.
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. If you do not provide the personal data mentioned above, you may not participate in the Campaign.
CX will retain your personal data for a period of 60 days after the campaign has ended, after which it will be securely destroyed.
Your personal data will be used by CX for the purposes stated above and will be kept confidential. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, your personal data may be provided to:
- Vercel – Hosts the Campaign microsite.
- ElevenLabs – Provides AI-generated voice for the fictional vacation “doctor”, using OpenAI’s inputs.
- OpenAI – Powers the Natural Language Processing behind the AI teleconsult experience.
- MailChimp – Facilitates the sending of campaign-related email, including your Vacation Certificate and discount code.
CX is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data and will handle it in accordance with its Privacy Notice. You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by CX. PDPA Disclaimer
By participating in the microsite, participant(s) consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their data (e.g., email address) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Data may be used by Cathay Pacific for the purposes of personalising your Vacation Certificate and, with your consent, emailing you your Vacation Certificate and a discount code for your flight booking.
